Together with David Levin, Wojciech Matusik, and Adriana Schultz, I am organizing a mini-symposium on Expanding the Frontiers of Engineering Design using Computation at the World Congress on Computational Mechanics 2018 . The WCCM is the most attended, and most broadly themed gathering of engineers, applied mathematicians, and computational scientists working on areas relating to mechanics, materials, computation and finite elements.
